Learn The Tarot
Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th September
10am - 4pm both days
This in person, Tarot course is happening over a full weekend in Albury NSW. We will dive into the magic and mystery of Tarot, starting at the beginning and moving forward from there.
No experience is necessary for you to join in and enjoy this course.
You will learn about;
- The 4 Suits
- Tarot Spreads
- The Court Cards
- The 78 Tarot card Meanings
- How to actually read the cards
This is a supportive, experiential learning experience.
Comprehensive notes will be provided and you will need to have your own Smith-Waite Tarot deck. If you have another deck, it is fine for you to bring that along too but the teaching will be focussed on the Smith Waite deck.
Whether you are joining in for your own personal development, because you love the magic of myth, want to develop your intuition, or because you are looking at the Tarot as a possible income stream - whatever your motivation, you are welcome!

Creams and Natural Products
Monday Sept 8th 2025
10.00am - 2pm
If you would like to learn how to make natural, wholesome, chemical free products that you can create in your own kitchen, this Saturday morning workshop may be for you.
We will be sniffing, mixing, sampling, discussing and working with various;
- carrier oils
- natural waxes
- plant butters
- herbal tinctures and flower waters
- aromatic healing oils
We will create a suite of beautiful, natural products that can be completely personalised for your skin and hair type. Recipes will be provided so you can replicate them time and again in your own home.
Jars bottles and the like will be provided so that you can take home your goodies.
If you have a particular skin condition that needs to be considered, please let us know before the day.
A small interactive, in person workshop held at The Cottage in Albury NSW.

Spiritual Aromatherapy 2
Saturday 13th September
10.00am - 2pm
Quite literally, we will be working with the divine aspect of the plant kingdom.
We will build on the knowledge and experience gained in Spiritual Aromatherapy 1, however it will not be essential for you to have attended that workshop, to attend Spiritual Aromatherapy 2 as we will be exploring a completely different grouping of aromatherapy oils.
We will touch upon, discuss and reflect on topics like;
- consciousness
- soul initiations
- spiritual qualities of essential oils
- flower essences
- plant communication
You can expect an intimate, interactive, in person workshop that will be held at The Cottage in Albury, NSW.
Please bring a pendulum, plus a pen and notebook with you to the workshop.
Loose comfortable clothing should be worn if at all possible, as this will be a relaxed session and wearing comfy clothes can help you to be in that state.

Timing in The Tarot
Sunday September 21st 2025
2pm - 4.30pm
In this delightful Sunday afternoon class we will discuss the issue of timing in the Tarot.
So many want to know “when,” so it helps to have a system to fall back on to determine the when for future events in particular.
There are a couple of different timing systems that we will look at for determining timing.
- Looking
- Touching
- Listening
- Talking
YES!
It will all be about timing and of course we will be doing readings to practice working with timing.
Karen will share a special Tarot card spread with you.
You will be have ample opportunity to practice working with timing in the Tarot, and will enjoy sharing, giving and receiving feedback.
Cake may be involved.
We will gather at The Cottage in Albury and address and directions will be shared closer to the day.

Reiki Healing - Level 1
Saturday October 11th, 2025
10am - 4.30pm
This small group healing course is happening in person in Albury at The Cottage.
You will find this to be a very practical ‘hands on’ experience and you will learn the fundamentals of healing work as well as things like;
- Esoteric Symbols
- Space Setting and Holding
- Managing Expectations
- The Laws of Healing
Class notes will be provided along with back up support.
We will look at the possibility of a follow-up practice session to address any issues that come up after the Reiki Level One training course is completed.

The Motherpeace Tarot Class
Monday 20th October 2025
10am - 12.30pm
Join me for an exploration of the Tarot.
In this half day class we will be exploring the MotherPeace Tarot Deck specifically.
We will touch on the background and timing of this decks birthing into the world and consider its social impact.
We will work with the deck practically, to enjoy the experience of round deck card reading and explore alternative Tarot spreads.
Maximum of six participants so book early to secure your space for this in person class at The Cottage in Albury.
You will need to BYO Motherpeace Tarot Deck, along with a pen and notebook although some notes will be provided.
Light refreshments provided.
Naturally, it will be Tea and Tarot!!!

Tarot Healing 1

This is a specialist class for those of you who have an interest in Tarot and/or Healing.
Ideal for Reiki channels and other energy and body workers who want to expand their healing repertoire and access the powerful medicine of Tarot to incorporate it into their work.
Similarly, this will be a wonderful session for those of you who work with Tarot and know you can get more from your personal or professional work with the cards.
This is an innovative approach, perhaps a little bit too out of the box for some, but if it speaks to you, follow your own inner guidance and come.
You will want your Smith-Waite Tarot cards, and bring a notebook and pen.

The Tarot Court Cards

9.30am - 12.30pm
A half day workshop all about the Court Cards of the Tarot Deck.
These 16 cards are often known as the people, or family cards and can represent people or ways of working with the energy they depict.
Many readers say these are the hardest cards to read, but you will learn some great tips and get a really good understanding of how these court cards show up in a reading, and how you can bring them to life for yourself and your clients.
We will look at things like personality ‘types’ and Karen will help you to determine how you can identify the people in your world according to the court card types.
This is a fun, interactive and rather enlightening workshop. You will leave with a greater sense of confidence in your ability to read the cards overall, with the knowledge of the Tarot’s Court Cards.

Meditations for Peace

6am to 6.30am (each day)
The meditations for peace will be happening in QE2 Square in central Albury in the early morning for the twelve days of Christmas.
There will be a short introduction, and then a silent meditation each day.
This is a free event and all are invited. It is not religious or political, and it costs nothing to participate. It IS about coming together as a community and collectively holding an intention for peace.
There is much documented evidence that shows when groups of people gather together to focus on peace, whether that be in prayer or meditation, that positive changes occur.
Come and join in on the days that you can. Bring a chair to sit on, a rug, or simply sit on the grass. Come with others, or come on your own.

YOU and 2026

This is a dive into who you are, and how to use your existing skills and abilities to get what you want and need out of the year ahead.
This is a wonderful way to begin 2026 and offers you an opportunity to regroup and set yourself up for the year ahead.
We will be working with the Tarot as our main tool with a focus on the family, people or court cards in order to do this. Some understanding of the Tarot will help you gain maximum benefit from this offering. If you are brand new to the Tarot but you want to prep for 2026 via this workshop please access one of the online evergreen programs available on this website and get at least some of that under your belt beforehand.
As always, this wont be for everyone, and a smaller grouping of folk will be hosted at The Cottage to enjoy this workshop.

Life stays fresh when we are growing, learning, and leaning into change.
Those who are drawn to participate in Tarot classes, the Wise Woman program for Crone Work or other healing events run by Soulful and Wild, come from all walks of life. There is no defined age bracket, socio-economic bracket or set level of experience. There is however a commonality, and that is ‘the spark’. It’s a spark of light in the heart that is seeking oxygen and space to burn just a little brighter, and sometimes a lot brighter. At the core of things, this is what it’s all about. Whether its a Healing workshop, a Tarot Taster, a Spiritual Aromatherapy workshop, a Meditation event or one of our in person, urban, Seasonal Retreats or Circles, its all about taking a deep metaphorical breath in, and letting it out real slow. These events are designed to nurture and support, so you can shine ever brighter.
