Spring Tarot Spread

A Tarot Spread for the Spring Equinox

Here's a special Tarot spread specifically designed for the spring equinox just for you. Spring is ever so special, and I’d encourage you if I could, to keep a record of your seasonal readings in a special book - a Tarot Readings Journal perhaps. This gives you the opportunity to reflect back on what came up and you can learn so much about the cards and how they work with you with the benefit of hindsight. Anyway, here goes!

Prepare the Space

As always, make a special place, or sanctify the space where you are going to do your reading. It’s quite simple to do this, it’s all about your intention, but you can take some action as well and this will ground your intentions. Start by holding in your mind, the idea that the place in which you are working with your Tarot cards is inside a circle of light - like a sacred circle. You might also like to light a candle, or set up an aromatherapy diffusor and having something like Fir Needle or Spruce, and a few drops of Lemon essential oil in it too - this is a good combo for doing a Tarot reading.

Method

Next, shuffle your cards, and as you do, think about where you have been over the past few months, and then move your mind to the season ahead - to spring. When you feel that you have settled, and that you are ready to work, lay your cards out face down on the table before you.

The Layout

I like to lay all seven cards in a horizontal line from left to right, but feel free to arrange them in a way that best suits you.

1. The Seed: This card represents the potential and new beginnings that are emerging in your life. It signifies the seeds you are planting during this time of growth and renewal.

2. The Blossom: This card represents the areas of your life that are flourishing and coming to full bloom. It symbolizes the opportunities and manifestations that are unfolding as a result of your efforts.

3. The Balance: This card represents the need for balance and equilibrium during this season. It offers insight into finding harmony in your life, balancing different aspects, and aligning with the energies of the equinox.

4. The Cleansing: This card signifies the areas of your life that need cleansing and purification. It highlights what you should release or let go of in order to create space for new growth and positive change.

5. The Nurturing: This card represents the nurturing and care required to support your dreams and aspirations. It reveals the actions and attitudes needed to nourish your goals and foster their growth.

6. The Light: This card represents the guidance and illumination available to you during this season. It offers insights into what you need to focus on and the wisdom that will help you move forward on your path.

7. The Harvest: This card signifies the potential rewards and outcomes that await you in the future. It represents the abundance and fulfillment that will come as a result of your efforts and the energies you have harnessed.

Remember, Tarot readings are subjective and open to interpretation. Feel free to modify or adjust this spread according to your preferences or intuition. Take your time to reflect on each card and its message, and trust your own insights and inner guidance as you interpret the cards.

If you would like to learn the Tarot with me, you can access some significant training here, and perhaps consider coming along to the Tarot Intensive in the new year. And if you’d like to follow this spread up with a personal reading, you can book one online, either in person or via zoom, depending on what best suits you.

Do enjoy the beauty and possibility of the season before us, and Happy Spring Equinox to You!

Warmest,

Karen
